Plain Flour 1 3/4 cup
Unsalted Butter 3/4 cup
Ice Cold Water 1/4 cup
Cold Milk 2 cup
Custard Powder 1 1/2 tbsp
Sugar 2 1/2 tbsp
Vanilla Essence 1/2 tsp
Dice butter into small cubes amd seive the flour in a bowl.
Add butter cubes into the flour and rub them together with your fingertips.
Add 1-2 tbsp of cold water and combine to form a stiff dough.
Cover the dough and refrigerate for atleast 15 minutes.
Knead the dough well and divide it into equal parts after taking out.
Dust a rolling pin and platform with flour and roll the dough according to the size of your tart moulds.
Grease the tart moulds and place the dough in the moulds.
Prick the dough with a fork to prevent it from puffing up.
Bake the tarts at 200* C for 10-15 minutes in a preheated oven.
Tarts Shells will be ready to use after cooling completely.
Mix custard powder with 1/2 cup of cold milk.
Heat remaining milk and sugar in a pan.
When milk starts boiling, gradually add custard powder in the milk while stirring continuosly.
After boiling for 3-4 minutes, remove it from the flame and cool it completely.
Add vanilla essence in the custard and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Fill the custard filling in tart shells and garnish it with fresh fruits.
